As an emerging director, I'm drawn to creating character-driven, emotionally rich narratives. I’m passionate about amplifying diverse voices, especially those of women, and strive to foster inclusion, visibility, and bold explorations of the human experience.
My directorial debut won Best Drama at New York’s Imagine This Women’s Film Festival, was officially selected at the Diversity in Cannes Short Film Showcase, and made the shortlist of the top 120 films at the Pendance Film Festival.
My journey into directing was shaped by a strong foundation in performance. I began on stage as an actress at the National Theatre in St Kilda and later refined my craft at the 16th Street Actor’s Studio, training under mentors like Jason Raftopoulos, Larry Moss, and the late Elizabeth Kemp of the Actor’s Studio in New York.
With a background in acting, I bring a deep understanding of performance, enabling me to craft visually compelling, emotionally resonant films. I love to work closely with actors to guide authentic and powerful performances.
I have completed a Master’s in Screen Studies at the WA Screen Academy in collaboration with the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Beyond filmmaking, I cherish the power of play—whether on set or at home with my family and find comfort in a warm cup of tea, a small ritual that keeps me grounded amid the creative hustle.
